The Now SyndromeI sit here at this place,  A blank expression upon my face,  I try to see ahead and behind,  I begin to lose my sense of time,   
It's hard to focus in the now,  My mind steering to the rear,  My eyes staring too far to peer,  Where did it all go? Wow..   
Finally I'm slowing down,  Not too far behind,  Not too fast ahead,  I'm realizing what's here right now.   
I'm here at this terminal,  Writing this poem,  It's a beautiful work,  That's yet to be known,   
It comes as quick,  As my fingers can type,  And now I see,  My presen The Now Syndrome

The battle for LoveAs I sit here near the front line,  The only thing moving it seems is time,  I sit here and wonder and look for the key,  To find the love that I seek to be.   
It's not all that hard to discover the truth,  As I sit here in the morale call booth,  With I smile I greet my love,  Wink thrice and thank the goddess above.   
It's simply that I'm never apart,  As your always within my loving heart,  I know the day will come and pass,  Where we'll be together at last.   
So, never fear my lovely dear,  For soon enough I shall be near,  And when that day comes to b The battle for Love

Doppelganger ChristmasAs the leaves shade to brown,  The first white snow falls on down,  Smiles grace every face,  The Holidays are once again in place.   
Thanksgiving Turkey making us full,  Football earns ratings like the Super Bowl,  Leftovers to last us the rest of the year,  Everyone grinning from ear to ear.   
All is snow white, trees are bare,  Christmas cheer comes full of care,  Families come to gather near,  Bringing presents to those so dear.   
Christmas day arrives on time,  The day makes everyone so sublime,  Presents opened everywhere,  Wrapping paper up to Doppelganger Christmas

The Chains of LifeIt is said to those who live this life,  That the past is as important as the future,  If you fail to remember such a phrase,  No longer shall this life be met with praise.   
I find it hard to hold back my tears,  Over these three long hardended years,  As I'm coming to realize the truth,  I was one disjointed youth.   
Try as I would,  The wounds failed to heal,  My love was taken,  The drunk I wished no more than to kill.   
The emotion I made in that heartbreaking night,  Would come to be my ongoing plight.
